Atmosphere is romantic (especially on outdoor back patio) w/island flair & strung lighting adding to the mood. The service was relaxed and friendly although dishes come as they are prepared despite a request for pacing. The food is inspired by Cuban island flavors and does not disappoint. Highly recommended for a romantic evening out if looking for something other than typical New Orleanian fare.

Ambiance: Came here on a weekend and was surprised to see a cocktail bar closing at 10pm every night. They have a small but enjoyable list of cocktails featuring bright and tropical flavors. The bar tenders were friendly and our drinks came out in a timely fashion. Drinks: Despite all the tropical flavors, the cocktails were well-balanced and skewed on the side of being alcohol-forward. Nothing was cloyingly sweet or too froufrou despite how it looked the menu. We had a few cocktails but the Which Ube U Be was the crowd favorite since the ube root added a nice creamy sweetness you don't often see in a cocktail and we felt it was the one we'd have a hard time finding at any other bar. Overall this place is a solid banger for cocktails. The drinks are fun, creative, and not overly expensive. My only wish was that this place stayed open later so we could stay here longer. Will stop back the next time i'm in town to try the food!

Excellent service, very good food served quickly and with a friendly attitude. 20% service gratuity disclosed up-front, which is the way it should be done. Server made excellent suggestions, kept us watered, heard and immediately rushed over a fork when we dropped one (despite the restaurant being fairly noisy at the time). Cocktail: their take on a hurricane. Good, but not remarkable. Appetizers: crispy Brussels sprouts were more crunchy than crispy... much firmer and less roasted than expected, but still very tasty with a nice sauce and very generous portions. Heirloom tomatoes with onion, avocado and heart of palm were a nice contrast to the Brussels sprouts. Mains: Fried drum over jasmine rice and a tomatoey, medium heat curry sauce was well prepared. Could've used a vegetable like bell pepper, but was tasty. Coulotte steak was perfectly trimmed and seasoned, extremely flavorful (rivaling a good hanger steak) and exactly the requested temperature. Dessert: flan was thick, a little cheesecakey, and sprinkled with a little finishing salt -- an excellent addition I had never encountered before, giving it a salted caramel bite. Superb. Highly recommended.

What a great option while in the French Quarter. Luckily we made a reservation since it was pretty busy, even for a week night, and the staff was great. They have a lot of fun local options on the menu and extensive drink options as well. The server was great at answering our questions and giving us suggestions. We tried a handful of different things and all of it was great. They have a nice outdoor space but it was a little hot for us so we sat inside and it was dark with candlelights, definitely a cool space but a little loud.

Outstanding Cuban/Creole cuisine in the heart of the French Quarter! Delicious cocktails! Service was top tier with great southern hospitality. Attentive and quick and filled with personalized recommendations. Moody bar vibe with a backyard style space for more dining or group options.

The food was very tasty!! We had the Brussels hash and the brunch rundown. The rundown was out of this world, we practically licked the bowl. The cocktails were great. Prices were high but I was really happy with my meal and appreciated the service. Space is a total vibe!

This was our last stop on our food and booze tour. We were seated in a back outdoor courtyard. We had fried plantains and pork cracklings with a daiquiri. The plantains had this deep dark burnt ends look to them. A red Macha sauce and crema were on the bottom of the plate with a stack of fried plantains. The dish was really pretty and it tasted just as good as it looked. The cracklings were fried crispy pig skin, curry seasoned and finished with a cane sugar drizzle. The drizzle with seasoning was a great combination. The soft creamy plantains and the super crispy cracklings were a great pairing. The daiquiri was rum, sugar and lime juice. It was served in a cute coupe style glass. Everyone at are table thought it reminded us of a margarita with rum and an unsalted rim. We definitely want to come back and try more items. Everything here was exceptional.

This is one of my favorite spots for an amazing well-balanced cocktail. While it is in the heart of the hustle and bustle of French Quarter it is an oasis of refined Caribbean class. Serving a wide range of Proto-tiki cocktails and top Notch food. You can't go wrong at Cane and Table. Service is always stellar. If you need a respite from the craziness of the Quarter-you will find it here.
